Different Countries, but Similar People

W marcu 2014 roku odbyła się piąta wizyta w ramach projektu Comenius realizowanego w naszej szkole. Do tej  pory wyjechało na wymianę do szkół partnerskich  już 25 uczniów nasze szkoły.  Tym razem podczas wizyty oglądaliśmy szkołę podstawową i gimnazjum w Ariano Irpino oraz pracowaliśmy nad zadaniami projektu. Podczas wizyty nasze uczennice zaprezentowały pokaz slajdów o Częstochowie w przeszłości i obecnie, a także omawialiśmy ulubioną muzykę młodzieży z Węgier, Hiszpanii, Włoch i Polski. Prezentowano również filmy pokazujące wykonanie potraw typowych dla kuchni naszych krajów.

Podczas wizyty uczniowie i nauczyciele mieli możliwość zobaczyć Neapol i wybrzeże Amalfi. Rodziny pokazały też naszym uczennicom miasto Salerno. Ostatnia wizyta w ramach projektu odbędzie się w naszej szkole w maju. Czekamy z niecierpliwością  na naszych gości.

22.03.2014

At 5.00 in the morning, me and Patrycja went to

school. At about 10.00 am we were at the airport

in Warsaw, and we waited for the plane, which

was at 12.35. When we flew to Rome, we waited

for the Hungarians and Spaniards. Later we went

to  Ariano Irpino to the families.

 

23.03.2014

That day we spent time with the family. I went

to the shopping centre " Street Food ". That were

different things from to the toy, you can say

that it was the market. I bought there Sfogliatella

Ricce is a typical dish created in Naples.

 

24.03.2014

On Monday we went to the Italian school. We were

at a typical Italian lessons and it is significantly

different from Polish lessons. One of the student  usually

sits next to the teacher, the students have to walk

to school in uniforms and teacher changes students` place.

After that we

represented our countries.

 

25.03.2014

On Tuesday we went to coast Amalfi. We were on the beach at the

Tyrrhenian Sea, and later in the Roman Catholic church and throughout

the day we spent time shopping in the Amalfi.

 

26.03.2014

On Wednesday we went to Naples. We saw volcano Vesuvio which in

1979  destroyed half of Pompei.

We saw Baths and the church in Naples. In the

afternoon we drove to the center of Naples, then we went to the Italian  

restaurant. In the evening me and Patrycja went to farewell dinner.

 

27.03.2014

At 02.00 we drove to Rome with Hungarians and Spaniards  to the airport. We waited for the plane. Our plane flew at about 10.35. At 12.00 o’clock we were in Warsaw, and at 16.00 we were already at our school.

 

I am happy that I could participate in the visit in Italy thanks to Comenius Project. I learnt a lot about Italian culture, food and traditions. I hope I will come back to Italy one day. Katarzyna Kościelniak

 

Comenius Meeting in Italy , March 2014 by Patrycja Pidzik

First day: Saturday

We left on 22^nd March 2014. We had to get up around 4.00 in the morning , because at 5:00 we were already away from the school. We drove a bus and we were at 10.00 am at the airport in Warsaw. We had a flight at 12:30 but we had to be there before.  Then we waited for the plane . We flew almost two hours. In Rome we waited for the Hungarians and Spanish . Then we met , we went further way to Ariano Irpino . The road was quite long because it lasted almost four hours . Then at 21.00 at the hotel our family picked us up.

The second day: Sunday

The whole day we spent with our families. My family took me to the village which was called Salerno . They were very polite and nice. We ate dinner there and at the end of the day we went to the grand gallery . There we went for dinner and then to the house.

The third: Monday

The day was very active . I had to get up at 8:00 am , because on that day we went to school. We were with all students  for the first lesson: Mathematics , there met the Spaniards. Their school seemed  to me very pretty. There we presented the slideshow with Kate about Czestochowa City. Then we went to a high school in Ariano Irpino. Our headmaster Mr Tomasz Szczygłowski and Mrs. Sylwia Cyran talked about Comenius  at the conference . Later my family and I went to lunch and together we waited until 16.00 to go on to the school to show our performance which we prepared with Mrs Ewa Meus. The performance was interesting and everyone was happy . Then we said goodbye and went to our homes.

The fourth day: Tuesday

That day I remember the most of the trip . On this day, we went to the Amalfi Coast . That`s  really  pretty. It was worth going there. We went to the beaches.  Then we had half an hour to explore the old town. We went there to see  the church where we could see different things from the past . We also visited the shops where we could buy a souvenir . There I bought my bag with subtitles Amalfi Italiano . We sent a postcard to school. At the end of the day we went to the hotel where parents picked us up.

Fifth day: Wednesday

On this day we were in Naples. I spent a whole day there . At the very beginning we went to the great old castle , after that we went to a big mansion. There  were a lot of people selling various souvenirs or individual small things . On this day, we had very nice weather . At 14.00 we went to the beautiful restaurant where we spent two hours there :) . There was very delicious food. Then , unfortunately, at some point it started to rain and we had to escape to a building. Then we went back into the hotel and picked our caregivers . At 21.00 we went with their families to the pizza place for dinner  and said goodbye . Later it was a sad goodbye and drop off at the hotel , where we had to sleep last night .

The sixth day: Thursday

This day was very tiring and sad , because we had already said goodbye to beautiful Italy . At 2.00 in the morning we left. It  was a very tiring journey. We arrived at the airport at 5.30 where there said goodbye with the Hungarians and Spaniards. We had the flight at about 9.50. We were  in Warsaw at 12.30 .This trip has taught me a lot about Italian language and culture. I`m happy that I could go to this meeting within Comenius project. I hope I will come back to Italy one day.
